Music Class
When music and movement are a natural, joyous part of childhood, children benefit greatly in many areas of life. At GSLP, our Musikgarten music teacher is making a difference with music! Each class meets twice a month for a 20-minute session. Class includes singing, musical instruments, and creative movement.
Spanish Class
Introducing children to a second language as early as possible fosters healthy brain development, encourages positive social skills, and lays a solid foundation for effective communication skills that will last a lifetime.
Our Spanish teacher meets with each class twice per month for a 20-minute session. Concepts learned in English are also taught in Spanish including greetings, colors, weather terms, farm animals, numbers, and foods.s, and movements.
Sanctuary
Once a month we meet in our church sanctuary to sing songs, talk about our Christian theme, and pray together. Some of our Christian themes include God made me special, the Creation story, giving thanks, Advent, the birth of Jesus, Baptism, and Easter.
